  • The overall size will be cut to 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm.
  • The head must occupy approximately 75% of the total photo area.
  • Head covering is not allowed (even for religious reasons).
  • Avoid white clothing because the portrait background for Russian Passport Photographs is white.
  • It is best to remove your glasses to eliminate any chances of rejection because of reflections.
  • Your expression must be neutral with no frowning or smiling.
  • Russian ID photos must be taken by a professional studio.
  • The color photographs must be identical and taken within the last six months.
  • The photographs must be clear, well defined and taken against a plain white or light-coloured background.
  • Passport and Visa photo sizes and quantities of photos required change frequently. Please verify the photo specs with your embassy prior to visiting our studio.
  • Russia has a somewhat complicated procedure for applying for a visa. The policies are also known to be subject to frequent changes (often not formally announced) caused by changes in the international security scenario and bilateral problems with some countries. It is advisable to contact the nearest Russian Embassy or Consulate to find out what are the actual polices and restrictions prevailing at the time you are applying for your visa.
